I had preordered 17 of these thru the network of dealers that would allow me to, and then I would have them transfer their allocation to my account and HUSA would graciously let me pick them up to save the wear, tear, and possible damage from extensive shipping without superior protection. As they were coming in, I was going thru the batch and my eyes lit up as soon as I opened this case. What an outstanding swirl, but, I immediately noticed there was no plastic on the pickguard! WTF? Then
it hit me and I reviewed my NAMM shots, and it all made sense. This guitar was supposed to go to Steve, as almost all the special guitars shown at NAMM do, but somehow it ended up with a Huber and Breese allocation which was, mine. And, so was the guitar, until Brett (@gilaguitars )talked me out of it a couple years ago.”- Rich
