“Original Sin” is the debut solo single by guitarist and producer Tim Henson, released on January 23, 2026. This track marks the first time Henson has handled every aspect of production, including mixing and engineering. Originally composed using digital synths and keyboards, the song was later translated to nylon-string guitar, blending electronic textures with complex fret-tapping. Conceptually, “Original Sin” explores themes of agency and choice, framing the title as a metaphor for creative freedom. The release coincides with the announcement of Henson’s high-end clothing brand of the same name and a new line of Ibanez TOD (Tree of Death) guitar prototypes. The official music video was directed by Caleb Young and produced by Hand Crank Films.
