C#m Guitar Melodic Backing Track (with a twist) – Nick Johnston Inspired – 70BPM – The Guitar Bay

Nick Johnston

Decided to record and upload this backing track I made to a chord progression I came up with, it starts off relatively simple with a C#m progression which leads into a slightly off pre-chorus adding a C & A# chord. The chorus second time round resolved to an Am instead of the expected A major chord.

Inspired by the expressive style of Nick Johnston, this track is perfect for lead guitar practice, improvisation, songwriting, and jam sessions.

Whether you’re practicing feel-driven solos or writing your next instrumental piece, this track is built to support musicality over speed.

Everything is recorded with my Xvive MoreYou interface, guitars directly in, acoustics recorded through my Macbook microphone and the keys are just with my laptop keyboard and Ableton effects. Drums are from Steven Slates SSD Samples.
