So this all started when my buddy John Cordy made a Lonely in the Night Backing track and asked me to improvise in the style of Eric Johnson over it.
It gave me an excuse to fire up the old EJ amp and really chase down the secrets of that era of tone. What surprised me the most was how much difference the proper y cable made.
