This cover has come from the intention to focus on more Vivian stuff as I’ve always wanted to highlight what he does in this song live (there’s a couple of cool parts you don’t really hear on the record). But I was playing my Jackson and I thought I may as well do a video to cover Phil’s parts too. I will eventually finish Phil’s ITR series, just that there’s a lot of Phil shred on ROA and that’s mentally blocking me whenever I think about it. It probably won’t be as bad as I think…haha. Anyway, I’ve never consciously listened to how Phil and Viv approach this so this was a good learning experience for me and I found it very fun. I feel the band play this song too fast now but this seems a good tempo. Maybe Viv’s parts will come tomorrow, but until then, I hope you enjoy this! 🙂

I use a Jackson DK2 into a Boss Me50 into a Palmer Pdi-09 into a Focusrite Scarlett into my computer running Logic Pro X.
I have a Patreon where I upload my notation notes for all my new covers and I am going through my old ones too. But I also provide custom notation and video lessons content there or at my bwmguitarlessons@gmail.com address.
