I recently purchased a Schecter Nick Johnston (HSS) as a versatile guitar for various purposes.
The bridge pickup never ever impressed me as it sounded dull and not clear compared to the single ones which I’m really digging.
The Suhr Thornbucker+ is a modern sounding PAF style humbucker, very clear and precise with a great dynamic response. Now the guitar sounds balanced in all the positions!
Highly suggested guitar: plays like butter and it feels like a boutique instrument!
