SOLEAD Q plays Latin Jazz and Flamenco music. Consist of two nylon electric guitar, Bass guitar . The group combines elements of traditional… Spanish guitar music with Latin Jazz rhythms and virtuostic improvisation to wow and entertain audiences of various musical tastes. The members display extensive musical versatility and always seek to entertain their audiences with more than just a musical display! The members have tertiary music qualifications from Australia and abroad. Each member is a musician in his own right, having performed in various ensemble contexts and styles from classical to jazz, from heavy metal to flamenco, from medieval to contemporary art music. Some of the members boast national and international performing awards on their instruments and are highly regarded instrumental and music classroom teachers.

BERNARDO SOLER was born in the Philippines and began guitar lessons from his brother. In 1989, he graduated with a Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Guitar from the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music in Manila, Philippines under the tutelage of Mario Rodriguez. In 1992 he studied Classical Guitar at Melba Conservatorium of Music in Melbourne, Australia under the tutelage of Jochen Schubert .

He has enjoyed enormous success in guitar competitions around the world :
1981 – 1st prize in the “Concurso de Guitarra“ from the Centro Cultural de la Embajada de Espana in Celebration of La Semana de Hispanidad.
1981 – 1st prize winner in the “ National Music Competition for Young Artist “ ( Category A ) Philippines.
1982 – Grand Prix Winner at the 6th Philippine Guitar Competition.
1982 – 2nd prize winner in the “Southeast Asian Guitar Competition”held in Jakarta,Indonesia.
1987 – 1st prize winner in “National Music Competition for Young Artist ( Category C ) Philippines.
1988 – He is the 1st Filipino Classical guitarist to represent the Philippines at the “ Concourso International de Ejucacion Musical Dr. Luis Sigall “ held at Vina del Mar, Chile.
In 1994 he represented the Philippines at the “Primer Concourso International de Guitarra Agustin Barrios“ held in Asuncion, Paraguay.

He has performed around the Philippines, Indonesia, Chile, Paraguay, United States of America , Germany and Australia
