American progressive metal band Symphony X on the CRUISE TO THE EDGE (abbreviated to CTTE in the title line) 2024 performs Sea of Lies featuring the incredible vocals of Russell, the great viruosity of Jason and the three Michaels in the Stardust Theater on the Norwegian Cruise Line cruiseship Norwegian Pearl on March 12, 2024. Sea of Lies was written by Thomas Miller (the original bassist of the band), Russell Allen, Micheal Pinnella and Michael Romeo and was the second track on The Divine Wings of Tragedy, Symphony X’s third studio album released in November 1996. The album is rated in the Top 25 of Progressive Metal Albums of All Time (number 17) and the music was influenced by J.S. Bach and Gustav Holst, while the lyrics were inspired John Milton Paradise Lost.
