With Labor Day set to arrive on September 7th, Sweetwater has seriously jumped the gun with the launch of its massive up-to-50% off sale. So far, it’s the first of the big music retailers to go live with a sale, making it the ideal place to bag an early Labor Day deal on guitar gear.
There are some serious brands represented in the sale, with Fender, Marshall, Line 6, Electro-Harmonix, and loads more. I’d expect this sale to run at least until Labor Day itself, and likely a few days beyond that based on past coverage of sales.
I’ve had a look through the full sale, and there are some seriously great deals available for guitarists. The first I spied is a cool $200 off this unique Fender American Professional II GT11 Stratocaster. It’s got a 11-inch fretboard radius, which makes it a really fast-playing instrument, and quite unlike anything else in the Fender stable.
For those who need to build up their stocks of electric guitar strings, you can get a great deal on Ernie Ball Slinkys at the moment. Just buy a 3-pack, and you’ll get another set completely free, saving you a nice $8.99. It’s available on the Regular Slinky and Super Slinky sets.
There’s also a great saving on a limited edition JHS Good Vibrations pedal, with a huge $100 discount. It’s an all-analog, bulb-driven Uni-Vibe-style unit that delivers a lovely warble to your tones. It’s a big pedal, but for those who love vintage tones, it’s the real deal.
