The Memorial Day sales are well and truly over now but if you’re looking for a sweet deal on a brand-new acoustic guitarGuitar Center has just the thing. With up to 35% off some top brands like Taylor and Martinthis is one of the best sales we’ve seen this year for acoustic guitar lovers.
There’s an excellent choice on offer whether you’re after a beginner acoustic for a first-timer or you need a gig-ready workhorse for that next solo covers gig. Some of our favorite guitars are available in the sale, which makes it the best place to pick up a bargain right now.
Being guitar fanatics ourselves, we couldn’t resist scrolling through the sale to see what’s available. First to catch our eye was the superb Taylor 414ce, a brilliant all-rounder acoustic that can handle pretty much anything you throw at it. The Grand Auditorium shape makes for a brilliant midpoint between a big body acoustic and smaller body shapes, giving you plenty of volume and clarity whilst being a bit easier to handle. With a cool $200 off the regular priceit’s excellent value for money if you need a properly great acoustic for gigging and recording.
The Martin Special D also stood out to us, being a Guitar Center exclusive guitar with another healthy $200 off the asking price. It’s similar to the well-known Martin D-10E with an all-solid sapele and spruce construction, put together by the experienced hands at Martin. It’s a dreadnought guitar so expect significant volume and projection, while the Performing Artist tapered neck profile gives you a comfortable playing platform.
Finally, if you’re a beginner or want something a little cheaper, go check out the Yamaha FX335C which has got a sweet $50 off its regular price. It might be low cost, but Yamaha acoustics are well known for delivering superb sound and playability at lower prices. The built-in preamp and electronics make it a great guitar for gigging, with individual volume and tone controls that let you shape your sound.
