Fender's Player II Telecaster deal is sold out, but you can still grab this one for $190 less—plus, it features an even superior finish!]

On Black Friday I was raving about Fender.com’s Player II Series Tele deal – and unsurprisingly, it has now sold out completely. But there is a great Cyber Monday guitar deal option elsewhere, it’s not much more money and I think this darker Racing Green Player II Tele at Guitar Center for just $649.99 is actually a better finish than the Fender.com deal’s Forest Green.

I reckon this one will sell out too. You get all the great Player II features here that make the series the best buy in Fender’s catalogue: rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges on a C-shape neck that’s a benchmark for comfort, ClassicGear tuners like the US models and Alnico 5 pickups that blend traditional Tele twang with some low-end versatility. I’m a Fender modder and even I’d think twice about ever swapping them out.

I’ve been focusing on what I consider to be truly great guitar deals for Cyber Monday, and this is the one I think is the best right now. It’s surely going to sell out like the Fender.com has. It’s only $50 than what Guitar Center is charging for the Indonesia-made Fender Standard Telecaster!
