I’m a big fan of Tone King amps, and I was seriously impressed with the Tone King Imperial Tri-Tube preamp, which gives you that sound in a handy pedal format. It’s got three 12AX7 tubes in it, which is why it sounds so good, and it gives you that Tone King sound for three-quarters of the price of one of their actual tube amps. With £80 off in the Thomann sale, it’s even better value for money, and well worth looking at if you want a flexible and connectable pedal amp.

Finally, the enduring Epiphone Dave Grohl DG-335 continues to be an incredibly popular instrument, delivering USA humbuckers and outstanding build quality at a much lower price than you’d expect. It’s currently discounted by £100 in the sale, making it an absolute steal even if you’re not a Foo Fighters fan. It’s very faithful to Dave’s original guitar despite costing a lot less, with a one-piece mahogany neck and elliptical C-shape neck for excellent playability.
