Al DiMeola on his Guitarchitech tour and and bandmate Peo Alfonsi (from Sardinia) perform a cover of the beautiful Beatles song In My Life with the wonderful art on the screen behind the stage taken and organized by Stephanie Di Meola (Al’s Wife, photographer and videographer extraordinaire) at the Plaza Live Theatre in Orlando, Florida on January 16, 2026. In My Life was written by written by John Lennon (lyrics) and Paul McCartney (melody) and was the eleventh track on Rubber Soul, The Beatles sixth studio album, released in December 1965. Al Di Meola covered In My Life as the opening track on All You Life: A Tribute to the Beatles, Al Di Meola’s studio album released in September 2013. In Rolling Stone Magazine, In My Life was ranked number 23 on its 2004 list of the 500 Greates Songs of All Time (and number 98 on the 2021 revised list).
