This chord progression sounds [Music] awesome. It’s called the Andalusian cadence and it’s used all the time in music. But here’s a cool variation on the pattern. Take the flat major 6 chord and replace it with a major 2 chord. So instead [Music] of you play it sounds different, but this is why it works. In the circle of fifths, the Andalusian cadence is minor 1, flat major 7, flat major 6, major 5, back to the minor 1. Playing the major 2 chord in place of the flat major 6 is called a trionee substitution. Tritones are polar opposites in the circle of fifths. The major second chord is also a secondary dominant, which leads to the dominant and then to the tonic for a nice forward motion. There’s more on this where I post long form videos. Stay curious.
