THIS… Is my holy grail dream (Theater) guitar. Well, a replica of it. It’s an Ibanez RG7620, built in 1998, custom made in Italy, to match the exact specs of a custom made 7 string that Ibanez built for John Petrucci back in the ’90’s. Internet calls it the JPM P7. The guitar never went into production and there exists only one of in the world. One of John Petrucci’s more mysterious guitars, seen on some live footage during the Falling Into Infinity tour and an iconic magazine cover of Guitar World.
I bought this guitar from Tom in Belgium (famous in the Ibanez/John Petrucci community), but it originated in Italy, where it was crafted (the way it is now) by Savior Guitar and Migi-Fago. It had some owners in Spain as well! Thanks Javier Navarro MacLeod and Tom for all the information and interesting backstories of this guitar!
