A lot of you guys probably already do this pentatonic exercise. Um, and this exercise is where you would set a metronome to a specific speed and you’re going to play groupings of four. And you’re going to play 16th notes with a click. And what that means is it’s going to go click, click, click, click, click. So every click there’s four notes following it. Right? We’re going to play our pentatonic scale, our minor pentatonic scale with this uh patterning, right? So, it’d be starting on the first note and playing four or four with this one included. So, 1 2 3 4. Start with your next note, play four. 1 2 3 4. Next note, 1 2 3 4. Next note, 1 2 3 4. While you’re doing this, it’s really important to make sure that you are alternate picking. So, in order to make sure you’re doing this, video yourself.
