Jason teamed up with Lord Marty Friedman of Megadeth at age 16 to form the band Cacophony. It was the start of a brilliant but short career. Many said Jason was on track to be the Mozart when he contracted a deadly disease known as ALS. This robbed Jason of his ability to play guitar and confined him to a wheel chair. In this video we’ll listen to one of his greatest compositions, “Altitudes” from the Perpetual Burn album.
