Toto again goes back their debut album, performing their first hit Hold the Line, getting the crowd on their feet featuring Steve Lukather on lead guitar and Joseph Williams on lead vocal at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida on March 1, 2026. Hold the Line was written by David Paich and was the ninth track and lead single from Toto’s eponymous debut studio album released in October 1978. Toto’s self-titled debut album was a success, peaking at number 9 on the US Billboard 200, number 37 on the UK Albums, number 9 in Canada and number 2 on the Australian Albums charts. Hold the Line was the biggest hit on the album, peaking at number 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 (and spent six weeks in the top 10), number 14 on the UK SIngles and number 5 on the Canada Top Singles charts. Hold the Line was certified 3x Platinum and remains a staple of Toto’s live concerts.
